Follow God’s Path

The Bible says in James 4:13-15Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”

There was a moment in my life about 2 years ago when my general anxiety level was greatly reduced and it had to do with beginning to truly believe that God will grant me the things I need in the time that I need them and that my own striving towards what I wanted often ended in disappointment.  I no longer seek to order my life based on what I believe is the best direction (at least I try not to!), instead I seek to rest in the comfort that God is laying out a wonderful path for me to walk in and all I have to do is live in a manner that reflects His holiness.  This is how I met you all!  Just by trusting in the path set before me and each one of you God placed in my life.  I am amazed when I consider that I did not advertise for a single counselor that I work with
